S.A.S which is short for Stand Alone Scanlation is dedicated to bring you great scanlation releases.
The initial idea behind this group and the interesting name are bond together. In January 23rd, 2008 the first steps were initialized. There were just too many scanlations done by single people doing mostly every process of scanlation by themselves. (of course the name is also a pun on GitS SAC).
The idea was born, why not try to bring some of those great people together and found a group of Stand Alone Scanlators!
As the first partners appeared, the new group called Stand Alone Scanlation was born.
The main purpose stays: publish the best possible quality in an adequate time and that consistently. This is also one of the only two conditions needed to be accepted as member (the other one is secret, if you are curious you know what you need to do)
